I know the T's batter is in front, just in front, of the right wheel well, and removing the that wheel, and the battery cover is how to get to that battery, but is the QV's battery any differently mounted, or accessed?

    thanks for the help

Yes you have to remover the right front wheel and the panel. The battery slides out into the wheel well. It's been a couple of years since I replaced mine but it was painless. I matched it up at the local NAPA store and fitted it back into my car. EZ and cheap

Thanks a lot, with not seeing the battery in some of the drawings very clearlly wasn't sure. And since his is a EURO model, I'm thinking the sides are reversed.

When I replaced the battery on my Mondial QV I simply removed the fiberglass panel under the front hood that the washer bottle attaches to. I think that there are about 5 screws, and then the panel comes out giving access to the battery beneath. (The weatherstripping simply pulls off out of the way.) I'll try to find some photos...

I circled the panel that I removed to get access to the battery on my car. (The photo isn't of my car -- I found it online.) The washer bottle simply pops off, then remove the half-dozen or so screws, and the piece circled pulls out. (Simply move the weatherstripping out of the way.)

I've never gone through the wheel to the battery so I can't vouch if this method is easier or not.

so did I. I didnt touch the right wheel. Just take of this pannel portion ( before that you must take off the upper seal ), then the washing vessel, the klaxon thing i suppose. Yes, there is about a dozen of bolts to be unscrewed, some small pipes and elec wires. Then the battery is available. Good luck and patience...
