I was wondering if there are any decent mounting points on a Mondial/308 engine so I can lift it out with an engine crane rather than taking the subframe out underneath.

I was debating whether to use strong straps (like found on lorries to hold down cargo etc..) and wrap them round. Or if there are any points I can bolt a chain to so I can safely remove it without any damage to mounting points.

    Any advice would be great.

    Cheers Pete

Sounds like a lot of work... plus, from the looks of it, you'll need to remove the exhaust headers from underneath first.

    Wade,

    I have to agree.
These Ferrari motore' were designed to come out of the RH wheel arch, as a complete unit. Just spin it 120 degrees clockwise first.
