    Hi everyone.
I'm having issues with suspension on 90 mondial T .
Dash light stays on. When I turn on the ignition switch light switches on for a 2 secs , then turns off for a 0.5 sec and it's right back on.
All the shocks and actuators are good.
Removed all of them check to any broken plastic pieces and movement on start up mode.
Shock adjusters turn freely and suspension gets stiffer or softer.
Accelerometer mounted on top of the front bumper sims to be working .
Checked ride adjustment switch it's ok as well.
I don't have diagrams. If someone can supply me with any info would be a huge help.
I would like to check speed signal to cluster and etc .
    Thanks a lot.

Hey, I have the same thing. Fact is that if you turn on the ignition without moving the car for 3 times, that light always stays on! From my understanding, only a Ferrari dealer garage can turn it off. Other service points were not able to do that in my case.

    Disconnect and reconnect battery?
This is just a random idea, not based on any knowledge, but doesnt take long and might reset somethings.

    Try a "Hard Reset:"

The method that we use for our later model Jaguars is to remove the negative cable from the battery and touch it to the positive cable which is still connected to the battery (with the Ignition switch completely off), for 10 seconds and then reconnected the negative cable.

This resets all the computers and wipes all the resident memory. (Some say you have to have the ignition on to reset the ECU, but I have never done that.)

Works well for problems with 1999+ Jags, not sure how it will work with an earlier Ferrari, but I don't think there is a lot of risk there.

More knowledgeable folks will chime in, I'm sure.

If nothing is broken, you can do the battery disconnect. Then try a bunch of starting cycles. You do have to drive the car. After a number of cycles, the computer should recognize everything is working and reset itself. If you leave the ignition on for something like 30 seconds without starting, it will trip the light. I think that is in the OM.

    Regards,
    Jerry

The biggest issue is that I ended up going to 2 places that has sd1 scanning oem ferrari systems. And both systems had only
    -motronic
    -clutch position
    options ,
No software what so ever for bilstein suspension module .
We tried to scan it with 355 bilstein software but ECU is not being recognized.
Today I checked all the harnesses between ECU and adjusters , Cluster and accelerometer .
All good . I didn't try hard reset with battery cables .

There is a Mondial thread by gwroclaw entitled "Mondial T ABS schematics" that provides diagrams.

Also, is your ABS "test fuse" removed (as it normally should be)? If not, then I think the ABS system runs in a test mode which affects the activation of the yellow light.

OK, mine does not light up any longer!

I'm just back from the service garage where my T was for the last month because of a problem when starting cold and to my great surprise it stayed out! I asked them what they did... nothing special! They had started the car about 50 times and the battery had been disconnected for 2 weeks. Presumably, completely disconnecting the battery for a longer time could be the solution to the problem. I already disconnected it before by switching of the "-" pole, but never the "+" pole.

Hey, the light stays on again. I don't have any idea if the soft/mid/hard is still working.

Hello every one problem solved .
I was able to locate service manual w complete suspension adj . wire harness diagrams.
I checked every single wire on the system .
Figures out that dash switch operates with 5v . If you set suspension on each setting it cuts the voltage supply to ECU and that gives it an impulse to move actuators ,
I was able to read Speedometer output signal going to ECU . That worked fine as well .

After setting up car on jacks in the back and supporting front wheels on the ground system started working correctly .
After assembling every and each part I was checking if it's still working .
It was all good until rear wheels touched the ground.

In the mid time I came across other mondial T with correct working suspension .
    Just started swapping parts.
Speedometer didn't help front accelerometer neighter .
I took off one of the shock sensors from good car.
After swapping left rear , light stayed off. Success .
The weird part is orignal sensor would move on the start up .
Bad sensor was sent out to
    corvette specialist www.capitanzcnc.com
    $125 should fit the problem.

That would be so easy if I I could get reading from ferrari diagnostic tool .

Based on your troubleshooting, if it were an F-15, I'd suggest the WOW switch (weight off wheels / weight on wheels). ;)

Anyway, awesome that you fixed it and came back with such detailed information.

    Great post!

I managed to resolve mine: removed both red actuators on top of the rear shock absorbers, cleaned them out and pushed them -hard- back on the absorbers. It could be that one of the actuators was not pushed down hard enough so that little gear did not get over the screw. Anyhow, that's one warning light less!! Now the ABS light...
