Hello everyone, a friend of mine, has a Mondial T, and he need to change the clutch. I am looking in online shops and discovered that there are two types of clutch for a Mondial T, a single disc and another, much more expensive, with two disks. Is there any way to know which one is the correct for the car??

I wish I knew. My assumption has been that they were all twin discs except the Valeos which are single.

If it is the original clutch he might be able to save a ton of money and just re-line the plates. Also, not a bad idea to re-grease the flywheel (dampner).

By the way, great looking t coupe.

thank for the answer, so the single disk is for the valeo, and bi-disk is for the normal T

Maybe not! I took a look in my maintenance manual and it only says "A single plate clutch is fitted as an alternative to the twin plate version"

At this point I am questioning what clutch we have in our t.

The two diagrams in the manual appear identical except for the discs and pressure plate assemblies. There is a drilled flat cover plate underneath the outer bell housing, and it looks like if you removed it you could get a look inside to count the discs.

I think you use the same clutch as the 348 so you could try looking in that section too for additional information
