Folks- Car is in for service. Things do crop up on any 36 year old car!! We are trying to track down a couple of "check engine" lights. We got the first one (RR ABS sensor). But we still have a light. I am told it is showing a blink code of "38" ( I thought they were 4 digit codes, but not sure; maybe Motronic 2.5 is different than 2.7?). Following up on my own post. After talking to the mechanic, he advised that it was an ABS related code. There is a table of codes and I suspect "38" is really "3.8". I was able to share the information and it points to wiring or ring gear movement or possible bearing gap issues among others. Hopefully, that will help someone else. Regards, Jerry
