I did a search on BJ auctions and the only 1990 t cab I found was sold back in 2002 for $44,280 - no mileage listed but noted that the major 30K svc w/timing belt was done - it was white.

BJ 2003 Scottsdale had an '89 t cab - black - $47,000. Advertised it as the lowest documented mondial on the market. From the east coast. 30K svc w/timing belt and tensioner update. All books, records, etc.

Prices seem to be on the upswing which is good.

I bought my 88.5 Mondial 3.2 ( not T) Cab last year from Ferrari of New England.
It’s red over black, 7K original documented miles. Multiple owners, perfect history, perfect maintenance, by the dealer and I paid $44000.00.
This also included the 30 K service which they completed over the winter.
It came with al the tools and the cockpit cover.
The only thing I have had to do is replace the original tires, which were cracked due to age.
Since taking delivery, I have put 3500 miles on it and the car is great.
I spent a bunch of time looking for the right one and am thrilled with this car.
I also wanted a 3.2 because of the lower cost of maintenance and slightly higher ground clearance. I have driven the T's and find that you can not really feel the extra power. I do however prefer the headlights on the "T".

Currently, I feel the prices on these cars are very low for what they represent and feel that they are on the way up.

One of the things I enjoy the most is the fact that my wife and two boys can jump in and join me for a drive.

During my search for my "t" I saw one in a major publication that was for sale on the east coast for somewhere in the neighborhood of $70,000. It had very low miles on it, I think somewhere around 5k. I will have to see if I can still find it...

Shortly after that I was able to find the one that I have now. It is a 91 cabrio "t" with 3,100 miles on it, and it is in perfect condition with a Red/Tan color combination.

I have no complaints, as this F-car meets all of my needs, and has exceeded my expectations! For a model that only had 1010 or so produced I cannot believe how affordable the "t" is.

    Maquino,

I am not sure if I am reading your post right-it starts off by talking about a "pre" t, so to me that means any mondial that was built before 89. Is that what you are refering to throughout your post, or are you refering to the 89-92 t's?? And what is foo-gas?

..and you thought there were no "dumb" questions!

    ARIE,

If you can talk Allen into selling his at a price you are good with....you will be happy. Allen does not know me but I know his car, he has won many awards with that car (if its the one I'm thinking of), and you will not find a nicer t coupe that you can actualy drive...

    Hey John,

Well, I finally got Rachel back from the "spa" which of course, included carpets, new seats & additional leather work (God, there's tons of leather!) and a new top. THE SMELL OF LEATHER INSIDE THAT CAR!!!!!!!:) 5 days later (yesterday) I had my new Hyper-flow cats installed. I'm running them into the stock exhaust so I get all the benefits of cooler operating temps, more HP and a beautiful sound, without an additional $2,900 hit for a Tubi or even more for a custom made Capristo:)
    I'm quite happy now.

Photos of Rachel's new wardrobe are in Showroom (today, still on 1st page) - Let's See ----Interiors. Hope you approve.

    Rachel honks "cheers"
    Have a great summer.
    Hank

Thanks for the kind words about my t Coupe. Right now the car is performing better than ever. I just got my Major service with a full engine compartment detail. Did 32,000 miles last 5 years trouble free. Looking forward to Monterey in August. Come by and introduce yourself at CI.

    Ron,
Please replace the tires ASAP. I know you've heard it before...but true story; I sold my 87 328GTS in December with 8 year old tires, with about 30% tread left....I advised the new owner to replace them immediately....he waited, and waited and had a blow out on the freeway just last month!

I would not drive a car with 20 year old tires on the freeway!

OK, it's Wed. evening - - how much wine have you had (so far). You have the coupe (beautiful, at that). I however, have a Cab. Let's not talk about how much of a pain it can be to change her from a "covered car to an open car". Could that be akin to an "automobilic sex change"? All I can tell you is this - - when I'm putting the top down, I like help!!!

Keep the coupe for the girl's graduation party:)
    Cheers,
    Hank

Hank, sorry, I know you have the t Cab. It's been a tough day. Maybe I need another glass and just relax.

    Cheers to you!

    Hey,

I know - that you know:) As for the tough days, the journey of life has a station at which we get "on" - - - :-? and a station at which we will depart.
This daily **** isn't all that tough, is it? - - considering all that we have seen in our lives - - as a frame of reference. Don't mind me - - I'm just feeling quite good!!

    I'll just relax - cheers - -
    Hank

Yes, any Mondial prior to the Mondial-t (late 89+). That would mean the Mondial 8 and the Mondial 3.2. Foo-gas: an irreverent name for the flat tire inflating gunk that replaced a spare tire from the Mondial-t and 348 forward.
