I have a Mondial T with the switch selectable electronic shocks dampening. I think the system is working right since I checked every motor actuator by pulling it off and checking the small plastic "gear" that engages the adjuster on the top of each shock. I can see that each one of them was going through the "initialization" routine when the ignition switch is turned on. The electronic shock light goes off after a few secs to indicate that the system passed self tests.

I just don't feel much if any difference in the ride when selecting between the different positions. The dampening seems good but the same. Anyone else feel the same way?

I feel a big difference in all three settings. The soft makes me seasick and the hard shakes my fillings... :D

+1. I leave on medium setting for "normal" use.

it feels just right to me: Medium is best for most driving. ECU makes the adjustments in real time enough.

As stated, the ability of the 'dialing' motors may vary.

Mine can make for a slight feeling as in the 456. I harden them up, T only, when doing a bit more aggressive cornering, but on the 456 it is NOT something I like doing with a heavier car.

The 'soft' might be used on the T to lessen chiropractic bills, as those seats are rather flimsy, well, at least to the nicer 456 seats.

But I just leave in the middle position for normal use.

Point being is with a bit more study I'm wondering if it just talks to the ECU and says something like "Stay on the hard program," etc. when dialing hard, or does it actually adjust the motors directly [very doubtful] I suspect it talks to the ECU and therefore either a weak motor or switch not working if you feel no change.

The adjustment is felt easily but not dramitic IMO.

Soft is not like grandpa's heavy worn shocked car but just a bit more swishy and best for freeway use or such.

Hard felt quite more stiff but NOT race track stiff.

Same here. I hate the "floaty" feeling of the soft setting. I go with either "normal" or "hard" (on smoother roads only)
