    I have a 1990 T convertable with a loud rattle at idle. Its there with or without clutch down and not there once driving. If i drive car hard for a few miles it seems to go for a while. Seems to be coming from clutch housing. Any thoughts.

    There is a bearing at the rear of the clutch pack that can rattle on start up and idle. It just needs to be packed with grease.
