My internal renovation project is now finished. It included:

    1) I hot glued the loosened interior carpeting - USD 10
    2) put on drilled aluminum pedals from Hill Engineering - USD 150
    3) relined the headlining in black vinyl - USD 70 for materials
    4) unfroze and repaired the sunroof so it works fully - USD 0
    5) reconnollized the beige leather - USD 150 for the dye
    6) designed a new center console out of black anodized aluminium (ping me for the design files) and had it manufactured by http://www.schaeffer-ag.de (who also have a subsid in the US) for USD 190
    7) designed and built a circuit to replace the courtesy light delay dimmer relay which burned out - USD 20
    8) designed and built a speed control circuit for the fan so it all works - USD 30

Here are the pictures of what I would term a very respectable interior renovation for a total of USD 620 and a couple of weeks of work (well, mostly watching paint dry)

Here it is... Do a search for front panel designer. It is a german company with a subsid in the US and will produce the panel. It fits really well and has quite the luxurious feel to it compared to the plasticky original one.

I agree and would like to know what conditioner you used. Marco, your seats look comfortable.

Hi I d love to see if you have any idea to help my sunroof situation. I bought a car that is missing the bracket with the motor and extension tube and was wondering if you had any idea I could use to make or get what I need to make the sunroof open with the 944 components? I really appreciate your input. Thanks, Adam

Sadly, Marco hasn't been on FerrariChat since Jan 2014. Maybe try a PM instead.

I had contact with him shortly after he sold his car a few years back.
He might not be in PM either anymore. Try your luck!

Thanks, I’ll try. Anyone else know if the sunroof liner has the side edges cut and unfinished ant tacked up somehow? I think whoever did mine on the car I bought rolled and sewed the edge and it is like 1/4 inch thick and I believe it is causing the sunroof to not slide properly down in the groove. It rubbed the paint on the outer edge. I am taking the sunroof to get respirated but want to solve the problem first. I feel like if the edges were trimmed so the thick part (which riminds me of how piping on edges are) that it might work. Any one with any thoughts or ideas? There just aren’t any photos I can find of people doing resto work so I can compare.

When I ordered the car from Pozzi - France in 1990 I paid the following (in 2018 USD) for the sunroof and the full leather interior:

    Sunroof: ± $3,100
Full leather (dash and headliner): ± $3,900

I wonder how many 't' have the full leather interior?

I bought the last 2 rolls of original fabric from Ferrparts years ago. 1 roll is sufficient for the 308, but the Mondial needs 2 rolls.
But Alberto found a reproduction fabric in Italy by Piezo, which comes in the same 1,5m width and in black, beige, red and blue.
The company can be contacted under "[email protected]". I am sure Alberto will be happy to help you with it.
