    Hi all,
I have a Mondial t cabriolet with the valeo system. The problem I have is I can drive for 5 mins then it starts getting hard to select gears, then eventually I can't select any gears. I'd switch the car off then go to start it and it won't start. I have to leave the car for 30 mins before it will start again. Also when it plays up, when I go to start the car in neutral the buzzer will go off like its in a gear. I've checked the clutch and it has plenty of material left. I've swaped relays the problem is still there. Is their anyone who has had this problem as well? I hope someone can help me out, a wiring diagram would do wonders.

For all those who have wondered what the problem with my car is I've sort of have a answer. It looks like the ECU for the electronic clutch is faulty. Looks like I got to wait till tomorrow and see when I try the new ecu and go from there

After having a non Valeo t for a year and a half, I have learned that no-matter what the problem is, it is always the ECU! Why? Because, by weight, they are by far the most expensive parts on the car.

The ECU for the Valeo trans is located back in the left rear fender. I have seen several of these where the soft top has become 'porous' to allow moisture to pass through, run down the top frame and pool in the area of the ECU which then fills with water and starts to act up. You will see obvious signs of water if this is the case. Treat the top with several cans of camping tent sealer to stop the ingress of water, replace the ECU (getting rare) and good to go.
