Hi all, Does anyone know where the fuses for the seatbelt motors are? they don't seem to be on the main block. 92 mondial t cabrio. thx, Dave
I don't have a Mondial t Wiring Diagram book, but on a late US TR there is no such fuse (i.e., +12V power is always supplied directly to the seatbelt ECUs). Are you trying to disable your system?
No, but one mouse doesn't move so I thought I would start with the fuse. ECU? Oh no, that sounds expensive. Dave
Understood. Yes, neither the ECUs nor the mechanism bits will be inexpensive (We TR Owners got of easy with the recall). Is this a problem that you've always had (i.e., maybe someone in the past unplugged the ECUs), or something more like it was working OK but has suddenly stopped working?
Forgot to add that you can always try swapping the two ECUs and see if the problem follows the ECU or stays with the mechanics and/or wiring on the "bad" side.
yes, the driver side mouse has never worked while we have owned the car. Swapping ecu's sounds like a good idea. This hasn't been a big priority but I have some time and I thought I would look into it. now, I just have to find the ECU's thanks, dave
