    Hi, Just got my first Mondial T, one of the latest cars registered on 02/94. I am a DIY engineer with considerable experience on restoration and repairs from my other classics. I was looking around to find a tester with part No. 95970072 but in vain. So, I decided to build one by my own since I found Motronic 55 pins plugs. It seems realistic but let's see.     I have used the original tool but haven't made one. I would also make one but I don't have the plugs. Shouldn't be that difficult.

    I agree... I found the plugs but certainly need several hours of careful and detailed work. Mean time is not cheap, just for the materials (a nice metal box, plugs, probes) the bill was 200€... As soon as I will do, I will upload photos and conclusions.

    You don't have to make it ..I went down that road but then found that Kent Moore break box has two adapters for 55 pin Bosch ..I bot both .. one worked .. on eBay

    here is an example of complete kit .. not sure if this the adapter that you may need to shave down the plastic tip of not - but it should work with a little tooling

    I checked it but I am not sure that a 55 pins Bosch plug is included and the description is very limited... Thanks for the suggestion anyway!
