    Has anyone found a replacement thermostat for the Mondial t? I think it is outed diameter 54mm, full open 44mm at 96 deg. C and opening temperature 76 deg. C. I have not been able to find an off-the-shelf replacement and don't feel like paying Eurospares their 150 pounds UK.

    My Lotus thermo is also 54mm, but operates at 78C. I would think this should be close enough? It doesn't have the bypass hole but I drilled it myself. $6 at Pep Boys. Took many trips to find it as 54MM seems rare in anything under 90C.

    I need a thermo swap for my 91 Mondi T. Do you have a T and did this work for your Car? Was there apart number or Model name and spec of your Lotus that worked? Cheers, crash
