Help! I'd like to change the tranny fluid in the T, and no problem draining it but where exactly is the filler plug? Do I use the little dipstick bolt on the side of the transmission? And if so, what's the easier way to get to it?
If not that plug, is there an filler plug on the top of the transmission? That would mean removing the airbox assembly I assume.

You will need a very big allen socket for the filler plug on the top of the trans. I forget what the actual size is, but it's a big one.

Thanks Ernie, that helps! BTW, do you know how many quarts the tranny takes? 4 or 5?

Actually it's 1.06 gallons (4 liters). But just put in 4, cause 100% of the oil doesn't come out when you drain it. Use a 75W90 trany oil.

That's right, it sure is big. I made a tool by welding a nut onto a long 12mm bolt (19mm across flats of head) - worked perfectly when combined with a standard 19mm socket and extension.

    Well that sure was innovative.
