    Hello,
This weekend I tried to put some mondi T wheels (16 ") on my mondi QV from 12/82. The front wheels did NOT match. The wheel hits the brake-caliper on the outside, so they need spacers from at least 15 mm. Some one with the same results ?
I'm intrested in the 16" wheels from superformance but now I'm not shure they will match my mondi QV '82. Can some one tell me if his car has the 16" superfomance wheels on his mondial with the same calipers ?
Those calipers are from the ATE S48 serie (double pump on each side of the disc) and are added to the mondial QV from car nr 43013 on. Also on the 2 valve cars in the USA...
To resolve this problem I can put some other calipers on my car (the calipers with only 1 pump). If some one has 2 calipers (in good shape) for the front brakes in reserve and want to sell them...let me know.

    This is odd.

There are several FChatters who bolted up t wheels no problem. The t wheel at 16" is actually larger than the stock qv wheel at 15.35 inches.

I know the Superformance folks say their wheels bolt right up, and there is at least one FChat qv using them very successfully.

Did the caliper rub happen on both fronts?
Good luck and let us know - first I've ever heard of this.

I have T rims on my 83 Qv, they went straight on no prblem at all, the only thing I ever noticed was a slight rubbing at the rear but it certainly wasn't calipers rubbing

my QV is Dec 82 and the T wheels went straight on, not sure why you seem to have an issue.

The wheels are for sale in Belguim. The guy told me he ownes also an QV 82 and wanted those wheels on his car...but they did not match. So te be shure I also tryed to put them on my car...the same problem. They dont fit without spacers for at least 15 mm. Its a problem of calipers used by QV in Europe after that number and car 2 valve in the USA.
So be carefull when buying wheels for mondial QV 82.

Unless you have uprated oversized calipers it still should go on, I have a 'Euro/Uk' car and I had no problems apart from a slight rubbing on hard cornering.

The only other thing I could think of is that they are not T rims, the pic you posted is to small to properly see, but I'm 99% sure that the 308/328 rims are incompatible although I think its the pitch, could they be those??

I'm trying to put a bigger picture, so you can see those are Mondial T wheels.
When looking at the workshop manual, the book mentioned 2 different calipers for mondial 82. Booth cars I'm talking about have the same calipers ATE S 48 model with 1 pump on booth sides of the disc.

I want to resolve this mistery.
In the workshop manual (Mondial 8 and QV) they are talking about fixed and floating calipers. The fixed ones are before the car number nr 43013 I find out. The floating calipers are after that number.
The size from disc to outside of fixed caliper is about 60 mm. Can some one give me the size from disc to outside of the floating caliper ? If it is less, thats the difference. If not...there have to be an other explaination.
