is it possible to change the timing belt on a mondial 3,4t with the motor still in
Anything is possible. The cabriolet is rumored to even have an access panel behind the rear seats... But the correct & proper way to do this is remove the engine. Short cuts will not benefit a Ferrari.
I have lifted this photo from the following thread (I hope the OP doesn't mind).. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=268566 It looks doable if you drop the fuel tank. There is also the access panel behind the rear seats on the cab (not sure about the coupe). Dave Image Unavailable, Please Login
YES its possible, and quite easy. i have done it myself. Just drop the tank, two water lines and you will have access to the belt. In 1 hour you are working on the belt. mine its a Mondial T 1991. If you need to change or service water pump, a bit more work but feasible. So the answer to your question It a big YES¡¡¡¡
