Yes, I know......the electric windows on a Mondial QV Cabriolet are slower than a snail! But mine are really struggling and sometimes even stop half way up, requiring some "manual" help. Any suggestions?

Measure the voltage to the motors and if low then look at the relays, wiring etc. Search for window mod as you can get a kit i think to cure this. Have a look on superperformance web sote to see if they have anything.
They have a kit FER 05005 to speed up the windows, about £50 each
A general web search brings up some kits in the usa, if find it is not grease jammed

The grease is old and thick. Start by lubricating the worm gear. You can peak down there by taking the side rakes out carefully and panel out and using some wd40 and then some white lithium grease on the motor gear assembly without taking it out. Sometimes it ultimately comes to that but for me, I got mine working again. Even wrote a thread about it about 6 years ago. FYI, there are at least 20 threads on the topic if you do a search.

Check the motors as suggested, but also clean the window switches and spray them with Deoxit. You can do it from the top, but if you take to top off the console you can do a better job from the bottom of the switches.

Made my windows about 30%+ faster and the switches are 100% reliable again. My window are normal fast now.

I was skeptical about Deoxit for a long time, but when they finally came out with an easy to use aerosol I tried it It is wonderful stuff for electrical connections and switches.

Whenever I come across an electrical connection now when working on the Mondial, I clean it and apply Deoxit.

Deoxit is a new one on me- found it on amazon uk, good reviews but very expensive at £20 a can. Should last a long time.

I bought 2 x 5 ounce cans for $25, I also took some of it and put it in a pin-point oiler so it could be applied to individual contacts more economically, since the spray, even on the "low" setting, usually puts out way too much product unless you are covering a large area.

I kind of enjoyed the ambience of lending my window a helping hand.

Made me appreciate the use of the window (or lack of some days).

Voltage drop most likely, mine are the same.
It's a talking point with my passengers, one of many, so I kept mine ;-)
But the fix is, either as has been suggested a feed relay to a decent 12volts or those speederuppers from Superformance.
