Today I went out for my first spin. Also wanting to shoot some pics with my new 348 wheels on the Mondial. Started perfect, went to the fuelstation and got a full tank of fuel. Started the engine, runs for about 5 seconds.............................nothing...............................

After a lot of trying, help from the ANWB (like ADAC or AAA) it seems to be the fuelpump whichis broken. Maybe you read in another tread they changed athe fuelpump and injectors last week. They didn't change a new but a used fuelpump from another Mondial which was in their showroom. Now it is broken.
I will get a brand new one frm Bosch Stuttgart on monday or tuesday.

Very sad but lucky it is ONLY the fuelpump.
    Here are some sad pictures:

Roel, sorry to hear about that. Like Wolfgang says at least its nothing serious. But it bloody embarassing when your Ferrari breaks down in front of everybody. Have you got particularly low profile tyres on the wheels? Is there quite a bit of a gap between the tyre and the wheel arch or is that just black rubber?

    Cheers
    Simon

Fuelpump will be paid by the dealer. he has good connections with Bosch Stutgart. Will send to my home on mondya/tuesday. I'll put it on myself, no problem. The car is at my friends garage.

LOL, not that bad but....mhmmmmm....strange to tell you....I realy don`t wanna talk **** but in my opinion: many, many banditos over there and everybody tries to rip you....the hotel, the manager, the bar keeper, the rental car service, the bus driver and at the bazar....pfffff.....and I`m NOT talking about dealing/prizes bla, bla discusssion, drinking tea, bla, bla. They tried to rip me with the charge, cash and euro/turkey lira conversion.

Rims are straight comming from a 348 with Pirelli tyres. Think it is normal size. Looks great in my opinion. :)

Sorry didn't get the question. :(
Tyres are about 50 or 60%. Will get new tyres later. Lucky I am rid of these TRX wheels, they had better profile but didn't look great. And Wolfgang was absolutly right, these rims/tyres drive 100% better!!!!!

a before picture, see the difference:

Indeed, sad pics Roel :( Must be strange to see your Ferrari on a towtruck.
I can imagine it didn't feel good... after just a few km's driven...
Hope you didn't get too much stupid commentary by other people
visiting the fuel station and that you didn't had to wait there too long?
Luckily it's just a minor problem that will be fixed soon!
Yes, you're Mondial looks superb otherwise! The 348 wheels and shiny red are
    fantastic!
Soon you will be hapilly on the road again! :D
And BTW, a very happy birthday nevertheless!!!
