    1981/2 Mondial 8 Coolant Leak:
    My Mondi has sprung a coolant leak and it looks as though its where the rad hoses connect onto the long tubes running back to the engine bay. I'm hoping one of you technical chaps have had some experience of this.

    Q1. Can anyone tell me if the long tubes pt 116443 - 2off, are rubber of ally?
    Q2. If ally how does the ally pipe from the rad connect to it? The parts
    catalogue doesn't show a rubber hose between the two.

    I'm hoping to get the car up on ramps later this week & wanted to order the parts ASAP.

    Pretty sure #116443 is rubber - will go into warehouse and check

    I would strongly recommend you choose a silicone hose as a replacement.
