Off to Monte Carlo to see the Chelsea tomorrow night...trouble is got to be at Gatwick at 5 in the morning!

    Little yarn for you all:
Was last in Monoco in 1998 and took a walk around the G.P. circuit about a week before the race. On my walk I saw a lovely black 355 spider LHD but with UK plates and took note of the reg. number...as you do.

Forward to 2002 and I wanted a black 355 spider and found one from a private seller in Sunday Times...and yes it was the same one. I've owned it since then.

So as I've got a few hours before the game I'll go investigate and see if I can find my next f-car!! Anyone else seen their car a few years before they actually bought it?

    Come on you blues...

Back in town from the game last night, great day in Monte Carlo but crap from Chelsea.

I went to see Abromavich's yacht which was moored in the port & is enormous. While I was hanging around a photographer from The Observer turned up and because I was in a Chelsea shirt he took some photos of me with the boat in background.

Then amazingly after 10 mins I heard the wail of a car...not any car but an Enzo.

It stops on the quayside and a gorgeous model jumps out of the car and starts having her picture taken with a motorcycle cop who was there. These photos used the Enzo & the yacht in the background

Next thing Observer photographer thinks it would be a great idea to use the Enzo, the model, the yacht and me....for a photo. Me thinks this is a great idea!

Hopefully some of his photos might be in the sports section of the paper on May 9th which i'll check on.

I took some great photos of all this and other Ferrari things which i'll post later on today (when I sus how to upload my photos from my phone to this site). Not sure of the quality of them yet as still on my phone.

    2-0 will do it....!!

chelsea really blew it, 1-1 and the other side down to 10 men - and you lose 3-1, the ref really sucked in this game but also all this play acting really gives the sport a bad name, in my view if claude makalay did not get his second yellow he should have gotten a post match ban for his play acting - that was terrible, I think desailly is in trouble for the elbow, I also think moreites should have gotten red for the kick after a foul was called, it was clearly intentional and after the whistle. What amazes me is a slight tap to the head was shown red but a hard-ass kick to the shin after the whistle - which the ref clearly saw was no even shown yellow

The refereeing inconsistency in last nights game was awful.

Unfortunately, so was Ranieri's tinkering - the most naive decisions i have seen for a long time!

Oh well, reckon we can still do it but now certain we will lose ran next season.

    Cheers

    Simon,

On the basis that you bought the F355 you first saw in MC, can we look forward to you buying an Enzo in a couple of years?

And an FChat UK trip to MC on your yet-to-be-purchased superyacht would be welcome too! :)

Look forward to seeing your pics.

    Robert.
