SN is wrong. No odd numbers for Dinos. You posted the consignment or lot number. SN believed to be 03572. Marcel Massini
Not on auction but for sale near Monterey! I have no affiliation. Chassis #06470 Flares and Chairs GTS $485K Looks like a beautiful rare example in a great color. Looks well priced for a F&C Dino “if” it’s a matching number example. Someone needs to do their homework to be sure. Looks to have all its original books and tools. A current for sale Dino to compare against the auction examples. http://fantasyjunction.com/cars/2138-Ferrari-246%20GTS%20Dino-2.4%20Liter%20V6?utm_source=1973+Ferrari+246+GTS+Dino+Green&utm_campaign=Pino+Verde+246+GTS&utm_medium=email Freeman
Looks like “Sale Pending”. Asking was $485K http://fantasyjunction.com/cars/2138-Ferrari-246%20GTS%20Dino-2.4%20Liter%20V6
Just for comparison/reference. A “Sale Pending” at $450K. A ‘74 GTS in original Viola Dino Metalizzato. https://inventory.driversource.com/vehicles/717/1974-ferrari-246-gts-dino
Yes their models are very impressive...as they should be for $10k! They've typically had a display at RetroAuto at Spanish Bay during Car Week. Good for me that it comes in red...
The buyer of this Dino is a well known Vintage Ferrari collector. There is a really cool story with the purchase that will be shared soon.... Shawn
This auction season should be interesting to watch for Dino values. I have been contacted my multiple people, privately, over the last couple weeks, and there are going to be real bidders for strong pricing. I don’t think we actually know how many people have been lurking in the Dino section, but interest is strong right now. Shawn
A name you will recognize, if you don’t know personally.... Not in Houston at all, but has lots of contacts here. He has lots of cool stuff, but this aspect is even better... Shawn
I received a call last week from a broker I know and like - asking if I was ready to sell - I politely said "not yet"
