Monterey Car Week: August 13-19 Who is going from Socal?

I am thinking about it...

 

Heading up on Aug. 15.

 

I'm there every year, caravanned last year from Socal. I'd be game to do again.

Last year started on the Wed for McCall event, but not sure if I want to do it this year.

 

I'm going.

 

I may be in on this.....was planning a trip up to Napa this summer....
So this may be a great way to start it off......

Any ideas on dates, places to stay ?

Would be great to caravan up - nothing like a swarm of F-cars on the road !

 

Make sure you keep a room for me...

 

I'll be up there Wednesday or Thursday to Sunday photographing my brains out... It's gonna be an even more spectacular year with all the new releases!

Going up on Wednesday. Last year a few of us met around 11am in Santa Maria and I gave them the backroad tour to Monterey.

 

Sam... where have you been buddy??

For those of you that don't know Sam, a tour with him means you have to catch him, you will not have anytime for sight seeing... Although I am always the sweeper in the group, a tour with Sam on any road it fun...

I'm heading up with the Italian Stampede. I joined them for the first time last year, and it was a blast. All that being said, the best time was driving Hyw 1 back with Sam and Ross. We really tore it up

 

Arnie... good to hear from you too buddy. Between you and Sam running up front, the only thing drivers behind you can chance will be the fumes you leave behind... Hope to see you this year.

Due date for first kid is Aug 31. I think this may be the first year in 5 that I won't make it (potentially).
