When Flav starts looking like a viable alternative something's quite wrong.

He produces results. Just don't ask how said results were achieved. ;)

    Yes and no:
There are only a handful of people who are truly good at this. Flav is one of them. Dumbenicali isn't.

Some say that Briattore is a rat, but a rat that delivers.

The problem is that his latest years at Benetton and then his latest years at Renault were not good at all, so only the rat part remains.

He is a rat always has been, and he got away with his rat behaviour until he started bad mouthing porno max, so Mosley sunk his ship.

True, morals don't play a big role in F1. But you have to question his judgement.

I don't think he needs to be replaced - he needs to butt out of the F1 team running.

It is obvious that Ferrari is lacking in the aero area for quite some years now. That is the primary area to fix and replace Massa while they are at it. What is the beef about Domenicali?

You really think that Luca could do that?

I'd say the over/under is about two weeks.

You can only replace so many people before it's time for the guy running everything to be replaced as well.

Lots of bad strategic calls from the pitwall during quali and race over the years.

Plus I'm a strong believer that change comes from the top. The team has been lacking a top car and he is running this team. Maybe LdM is guilty as well. Dunno.

Newey is a genius but there is more to it than that when they have trouble with their wind tunnel or when they develop into the wrong direction or when they waste points on a driver who lost his touch years ago. The buck stops somewhere. To me that is the team principal

Meanwhile Allison seems will take Fry's place rather than tombazis, who's the real weakest link.

I'm still waiting for Tombazi to leave. I do think he is a big part of the aero problem

Me thinks there maybe a big house cleaning in maranello after the season is over assuming the team keeps underperforming.

For me, it is more than that. It's his consistently nonchalant approach to serious issues that annoys me. He seems unable to "light a fire" under the team. All these "we must think positive...for sure" comments are a load of crap. I mean how many times can we listen to how they need to qualify better or the parts aren't performing as expected but the fans need to "stay calm." Less talking, more DOING!

Since Domenicali took the reigns, Ferrari has become all talk. It's the same story every year, car can't qualify, don't have the pace, upgrades don't work, etc. etc. He seems like a great guy, but he's probably too nice to be a TP. And then there's Massa...

"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over yet expecting different results."

It's time for some heads to roll. It's quite obvious Ferrari has lost the political advantage it enjoyed for many years. They are no longer the shrewd experts at politicking. That title now belongs to Red Bull, which and is just one of the many areas where they have kicked Ferrari's ass for the last 4 years.

Do you really think that under Todt/Brawn Ferrari would have allowed the FIA to bring back blown diffusers again after Silverstone '11 when Alonso had just WON with them banned for that race? Do you really think under Todt/Brawn Ferrari would just sit idly by while tire constructions are changed to the detriment of the team? Do you really think that they would have allowed Red Bull to get away with all their bull**** they have for years (flexi wings, ride height adjustment, etc.)

NO, they wouldn't have. They would have thrown Ferrari's weight around to make sure the red cars were at an advantage. (See: the 2003 tire width change, mass damper, McLaren brake steer, etc. etc. etc.).

I miss when Ferrari was the one holding the cards.

Agreed on most except that I'm starting to think MB is even better at playing the cheating game and getting away with it than RB. I guess it helps to go fishing with Whiting

+1. Maybe Ferrari needs to build another Indycar and hint at leaving the series like MB seems to be doing....

Dude, have you met team Ferrari? Used to be when they built a dog they would have the faster cars banned. I'm surprised they haven't complained more about the RB chassis, there seems to be enough questionable components on it to at least warrant a closer look by the FIA. The sad part is, they don't even need the to have quickest car on the grid. All Alonso needs is a top three car and he'll do the rest but they can't even deliever that!

Oh hello Luis on dude terms are we, am not disagreeing am no fan of RB, however I'am a fan of fair play.

Todt tends to keep his nose out of interfering with the policing of the sport, so that's his way, and IMO he is trying to put it back right from years of that corrupt clown Mosley turning the sport into a complete mockery.

What you do want me to say, is your boy Fred not helping them out then, so what you want, teams that build or tweak the edges of the rules to their advantage banning.

F1 has been and always has been about pushing the rules, some are better at it than others, as you know if you cannot beat um join um, tell Fred hook up with Newey.
