And chances of Ferrari begging JPM to drive for them are .... ? http://www.f1racing.net/en/news.php?newsID=125954 Juan Pablo Montoya announced he would leave Formula One for NASCAR next season. Almost immidiatly after his decision was announced McLaren decided it would rather have Pedro de la Rosa in the car. Montoya doesn't regret his decision and would only consider to stay in F1 if Renault or Ferrari would have offered him a contract. "If Ferrari or Renault would have made me an offer that comes close to what they offered me in the United States it would have been difficult to reject it," Montoya told the magazine 'Grand Prix'. "The options I had weren't going to work." Montoya left Formula 1 earlier than expected but the Colombian doesn't believe his career in F1 was a failure. "No way. To be a Colombian and made it into Formula 1, won races can't be called a failure. It is something amazing I think. I fought for the championship in 2003 and I think that in the upcoming years there won't be any other Colombian or Latin American driver who can achieve something like that."
Considering he accepted 1/4 of what he'd make in F1, Renault and Ferrari REALLY must not have wanted him.
LMAO! In a related story, I won't reject an offer from Renault or Ferrari either!! Fecking balls, this guy really believes his own BS, doesn't he? How long till he alienates himself from the NASCAR grid and gets punched out? I give him 4 races...
I see your related to Nostradamus, and you may be very close to the truth, it may be less races though
