Headed to Montreal this Friday morning for the weekend for Drumfest with my son (he's the drummer). Any Ferrari events going on this weekend in Montreal ? Any retail Ferrari shops downtown - I'm just dreaming right now (near UQAM or Place Bonaventure) ? I know of Ferrari Quebec. Does Steve Maman of Prancing Horse have a walk-in showroom ? There must be lots more to the Montreal Ferrari scene I don't know about (he's not 18 so I'm thinking Ferrari specifically ? Any other F-chatters going and want to meet ? Thanks Chuck
i really dont think there is any events happening this weekend, its kinda late in the season for that, but whats this drumming festival and wheres it happening???
check it out at http://www.montrealdrumfest.com/intro.html Went last year and drove back and forth to Ottawa every day - it made for long days. So decided to stay in Montreal for the weekend this time. The talent's usually pretty good and this year its also tied into the Montreal Music show at Place Bonaventure http://www.montrealmusicshow.com/ You can go see individual acts or spend the day or weekend. Drummers will be in paradise, those interested in music will enjoy it and the general public will be amazed at the talent of some of these guys. These days drummers are not often the focus of most bands so its good to see them highlighted.
its true, drumming is kinda not looked upon....its by far the hardest thing to play in the band and the most fun to watch, you have to have ridiculous good hand eye coordination...i have alot of respect for drummers, ive tried a few times to no avail and failed miserably...
