Ok lets get a list going here. Who is going to Montreal this year??
Arrive Wednesday, different posts for Friday, Saturday, & Sunday, leave Tuesday after enhancing Hurley's coffers.
Sounds like a plan. I am sitting in 31 section 3 row Y again this year so it should not be hard to spot my fat butt with a huge camera and lens I will be getting in on Thursday afternoon this year and flying out Tuesday Morning. The only problem is my sister the JV fan will be tagging along and this will be her first ever F1 race.
If anybody wants restaurant suggestions, PM me. BTW. After the race is over on Sunday, expect a two hour walk to the busses. Just go straight to the casino and wait out the crowds.
I go every year. Arriving Wed 6/21. I HAVE 1 TICKET FOR SALE (all 3 days) friend wasn't able to go. FANTASTIC SEAT -- Grandstand 24 Section 12 Row AA (first row) This is at the hairpin looking towards the old World's Fair sphere.
Going!! I'm arriving on the 22nd. Make note that there will be a pit lane walk through on Thursday morning.
haha, im in Section 3 aswell, but im in Row B. I bit to low... I really hope there is not stupid fence infront of my face so i cant take any pictures... Oh and i upgraded my gear, moved up to a DSLR, ive got a Rebel XT What gear are you shooting with?
I have a Nikon D2x with anywhere from 24mm - 500mm lenses i also have a Nikon D-100 for back up. Actually the low seats are not that bad i shot a lot of my shots from rows G and H last year while the were empty on Saturday durring practice A couple of times the fence got into the lower portion of the photos but not that bad though. Here are a couple of shots from last year. As you can see the fence was in the first shot but not all that bad.
Alright guys so When should we meet up at the track? Maybe Qualifying day? We could meet and talk race predictions or whatever. Beast, Maybe we meet where we did last year? I remmeber you or Andreas posted a picture to show the location for those who don't know it.
I will see if i can dig one up or at least a photo from google earth of the track with an x to mark the spot
Not to bad in an echo, I'll be "givn'r" you can count on that. It's kind of my own little gumball 3000!
