    Hey Guys

What are the best fine dinning restaurants in Mtl? Cost is not an issue and neither is the type of cuisine.

    Thanks

well, i'm Italian, so I know Italian food....

If you are downtown, on De La Montagne street, you might want to check out "BIS" at http://www.bisristorante.com/ I had a great lunch there, and the food was excellent.

Next door to it, there is EUROPEA, http://www.europea.ca/ I was told by many people that is is excellent.

Obviously, I will promote my clients, accross the street on de la Montragne there is ROSALIE, http://www.rosalierestaurant.com/ (the pictures have to be updated, they just reopened this week) I just did some small renovations there, I refurbished a 40 year old pizza oven that was brought over from Italy, we modernized it and its a show piece in the main entrance. The pizza is fantastic, and they cook some prosciutos and other italian dishes in that wood burning oven as well.

If you want to have a very good dinner, very good looking waitresses that know what they are doing, and plenty of action afterwards, you can go to my other client's Restaurant, Buonanotte on St.Laurent street http://www.buonanotte.com/ (I also did all the renovations there! Lets just say, they spent over $500,000 just to redo their kitchen, and kitchen prep areas, let me tell you, the kitchen can pass for a laboratory) The pasta is daily fresh and home made, the chef is from Milano, he cooks up some really delicious food. Lino (one of the owners) will come to your table with a old fashioned slicer, and cut you the thinest and best slice of prosciuto di parma right at your table.

anyway, for some reason, I am hungry now!

I have eaten there 3 times. The last time was 3 -4 years ago. Truly very good. I would rank it on par with some of the best French-inspired cuisine that I have had on this side of the Atlantic.
