Does Lewis now have two cars to worry about? Max...and Valtteri, who has nothing to lose in racing all out for himself now. He owes Mercedes nothing...but he owes it to himself to leave on as high a note as possible. It would be ironic if Monza also fails to provide Lewis with his 100th win.
If they had cut all the love story mush from Grand Prix it would be the best racing movie ever made. What Frankenheimer did to put the stars in real cars going real fast (not full F1 speed)...and mounting his cameras on a Ford GT40 as the camera car...well it is breathtaking. CGI images today make it too easy...Grand Prix and Le Mans were real movies.
I expect that Bottas has an air tight contract with Mercedes and would suffer financial penalties if he contravenes team orders?
The weekend forecast for Milano is about 85F each day with minimal chance of rain. Remember - qualifying for the Sprint race is on Friday with the Sprint race itself on Saturday.
Looking forward to the sprint race, must say. Ferrari boys might even do relatively well despite being down on power to the best cars. They run well on low fuel; they’re good in the braking zones and riding the curbs; and even if they need to go down on DF levels, short race will mitigate tire wear issues.

How cool would it be to bring back Monza's banked corner... it'll never happen... but it's sure fun to think about.
Qualifing...why so late? 2am start for that for me. Not thanks, I'll watch it in the morning or so. apparently 50% of tickets sold so far are to Max supporters...
Robert Kubica will replace Kimi Raikkonen at Alfa Romeo again at Monza. They say it should be announced in the next few days.
