KR was carrying a high fuel load and still had the best qual lap.He is the best driver after MS.

I'm bummed about Quick Nick missing. Oh well, but the iceman coming from behind promises some interesting passing.

    Becker,
Both MS and RB didn't do 1:21.962. Your list is good except for both Ferrari laptimes.

    It should be
    07 M. Schumacher Ferrari 1:21.721
    08 R. Barrichello Ferrari 1:21.962

Anyway I think they will do good. I hope they past Trulli at the start.

Kimi will win this GP even if he is starting 11th. Do you think it's possible that Montoya will dropped off the pace and block Alonso so that Kimi can catch up? With all the straights at Monza I don't think JPM can do that.

I think if MS went a little bit latter, he would have definitely been top 3. MS qualifying lap was very good. He was pushing very hard. I can't wait to see how Micheal is in the race, I think he has something for the front runners.

I'm with you there I think its the Icemans race, somehow I think JPM will do as you say and hold up Alonso, but we know Ferando can get by him when he makes one of his usual cock-ups !

these mercedes engines lack of reliability really mirror their current road cars' jd power quality standing [a notch or 2 above Kia] -- they should quit racing, it's just highlights their weakness:)

it's not going to be easy for KR bu tmakes for more entertainment than him disappearing from the pole

Both the Ferraris and McLarens are good at curb hopping, so they qualify well. Michael was pushing hard -- but can even robo-driver keep that up for 60 or so laps? Monza isn't a tarmac runoff track. It only takes one goof to put you in the kitty litter.

I suspect Kimi has his work cut out for him, but getting around the Ferraris, alas, isn't likely going to be one of his problems.

Although "Dr.Chop" does tend to have a case of "wide car syndrome" -- even when he's slow. I wonder how blatant MS would have to be to incur a penalty from the local officials?
