CC100 From memory a concept built to celebrate 100th anniversary that was never road legal (anywhere !)

Ferrari said that fewer than 500 of the Monza SP sportscars will be produced and sold only to eligible Ferrari customers, whose preferences will define the mix of one- and two-seat models. The open-cockpit Monza SP sportscars are "probably the closest and purest driving experience to the Formula 1," said Nicolo Boari, the head of product marketing. He said that the engine was "the most powerful ever in Ferrari history," boasting 810 horsepower able to reach 100 kilometers per hour (62 mph) in 2.9 seconds and 200 kilometers an hour in 7.9 seconds. Providing a glimpse of Ferrari's broader plans to expand its luxury profile, buyers of the Monza SP series will receive a racing jumpsuit designed by Italian high-end luxury brand Loro Piana that will also help protect the drivers against the elements. Italian leather maker Berluti is also making a leather-clad helmet-goggle combo and driving shoes for the brand.
The problem with this car is that, despite the perfect execution, this thing of remaking the 50s spiders has been done many times, and all 50s spiders look quite similar so you end with something beautiful but not very surprising. I think they'd done it better with the F12 TRS.
LOL. So the closest and purest driving experience to Formula 1 is an 812? Gimme a break. "probably the closest and purest driving experience to the Formula 1,"
They will be shown to the public at the Paris auto show next month where the company will also unveil pricing details. Ferrari will release photos of the cars at 1700 GMT on Tuesday.
Nice,Berluti and Loro Piana options ! As I said on the "sister" thread Ferrari really need to offer the option of a pair of large balls to anyone intent on driving the 812 Monza as fast as possible on the road.
Has anyone seen the car open? The engine compartment? Is there a set of suitcases or bags? A sort of car cover?

The more I see the more I like it, but one has to admit that the TdF looks like incredible value at its original MSRP!!! Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
I absolutely love it. I imagine driving it by a warm afternoon , in the middle of nowhere...nobody else on the road.Soaring engine noise, air on my face
The feeling probably would be incredible. Mr Boari means the closest driving experience to the F1 before HALO era when things were pure. Man, his machine and a leather helmet. Absolutely love it.
RACE stock in Milan climbed to a recent high early this morning, then dropped in a straight line, now recovering. I wonder if that had anything to do with expectation, then picture leak, then assessment .. https://www.marketwatch.com/investing/stock/race?countrycode=it
Not really a fan to be honest. Nothing really innovative, fantastic V12 yes but sad to say to me that is about all this car has going for it. Completely impractical to drive and frankly considering the loss of weight I would have expected better the 2.9 seconds to 60.
Do we know how much lighter it is compared to an 812? The 0-200km/h time looks identical to the 812 which may be down to aerodynamics Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
