Guy's been in jail for a whole day; imagine what this is doing to his lawn!!

You lawn-jerkers are psycho's. I've got one on my street in his mid-thirties. My dog took a dump on the edge of his grass and he flipped. I don't carry a baggie or anything--it's a short street so I return on my bike to clean up when I have to--but that wasn't good enough for this guy. He goes out and individually rolls each turd into the street and stands next to it until I came back.

It's been years and he still looks at me with hatred. What a retard. My car is worth more than his whole house.

so essentially you're saying you have a right to be an as$hole because your car is worth more than his house...

how about if he came and took a dump on your car?

try learning to respect other ppl's property regardless if you think its valuable or not

Lot's of people have dogs, and dogs poop. Neighbor's dogs poop on my lawn all the time, and I could care less, because I have a life. There is a hierarchy of values, and the old man's are seriously out of sync.

We have a system of laws in this country where the punishments fit the crimes; that's called rationality. But this kind of miserable intolerance is way out of scale to the supposed violation. The lawn-jerkers have a screw loose, and like terrorists, have only one form of recourse when they are challenged with an unpleasant situation--attack.

Intelligence breeds alternatives. A narrow focus on one's lawn and boundaries is just emotional residue from the cowardice of a failed life. It's paranoid. If the big goals of life are being reached, the little things aren't going to bother you.

I don't like when someone disrespects me, as has happened. But there are distinct classes of humanity--those who drive exotic cars and those who key them. You sound like the latter.

I'm just loving your rationalisations. So have you reached your "big goals" in life ? Surely for someone so wise and which such impenetrable "moral armor" you shouldn't be letting a "little thing" like a neighbor who looks at you with "hatred" bother you ?

Oh, I forgot, he's a "terrorist". Damn these lawn tending terrorists, they should nuke em all.

And I suppose someone who takes exception to your opinion on a forum is not a "little thing" either. After all, that got you riled enough to accuse him of being capable of keying exotics.

When I grow up, I want to attain the "big goals" in life just like you have. Your inner peace is just shining through.

How'd you come to that conclusion?

From what I can tell, Big Dog is arguing for respecting other people's property! :D

BMW boy is honoring a man who shot someone without his own life being in jeopardy. Rational? Draw your own conclusions.

honoring? far from it.... pull your head out of your as$ and read the previous posts.... i CLEARLY stated that the incident did not warrant killing the kid...

looks like your organic moral code needs to add a chapter in respecting other ppl's property ;)

After seeing his site, I think his opinions should be relegated to the back row, bottom shelf of the cheesiest, crappiest self-help sections in bookstores. Fchat is too refined and intelligent a place to be tolerant of such tripe.

Say what YOU'VE said here in a job interview. Yes, including that crap about "lawn-jerkers" being terrorists and accusing your interviewer of being an exotic-keyer.

Think you'd get the job ? You'd be lucky if you don't get a straightjacket and armed escort to the looney bin. You are too deluded.

I can only speak for myself, and I'm not flaming you, or trying to get into an argument. It's just that you've posted some strange, contradictory thoughts. For eg:

Here you are, calling your neighbour a derogatory, and to many, an offensive term, simply because he has a gripe with you in relation to your dog defecating on his lawn/property? Practice what you preach, man!

You're not coming across as a 'winner'; you're coming across as a bit of an oddball! Not that there's anything wrong with that!

EDIT: Korr, you've taken the wind out of my sails! :):D

Oh, there's no contradiction. He's one of those gurus who preach "Do as I say, not as I do" philosophies. I hear all the smart money's on these gurus these days.

"Here you are, calling your neighbour a derogatory, and to many, an offensive term, simply because he has a gripe with you in relation to your dog defecating on his lawn/property? Practice what you preach, man!"

It's much deeper than that. Live close to someone for ten years and you see a lot. Poop happens (which I cleaned up), and two years later, he's still festering! Why hang onto the negativity? Does it feel good to him? Hate just burns people up. "Life's too short to be pissed off all the time." --american history x

People are what they are. There are people you can help, and people you can't. The guy's an alcoholic, unemployed jerk. He's been on a jealous slow-burn for years, watching my life-style compared to his, just looking for a reason. He repels people.

I'm not here (philosophically and morally speaking) to blow sunshine up anyone's a$$ with a rose-colored view of existence. Reality is what it is, and defying that (with unconditional love for instance) is our culture's moral contradiction; a contradiction most subconsciously expect me to perpetuate. I saw it and broke with it.

BMW guy: I didn't see your first page post. I responded only to what you said after me.
