Built 1959 I am gussing it burns a lot of gas, and is lacking in the type of safety and systems we prefer these days.

I'd be curious what they want for it.

Doesn't mention the ceiling or if it's pressurized.

Yes, for what it is it's pretty thirsty compared to modern turbofans.

Depending on what version, the engines are pretty much the same as the J69 in the Tweet... Reliable and long life, but being turbojets they use a good bit of fuel.

Just because it can be pretty inexpensive to buy doesn't mean it's inexpensive to fly...

    Typical Specs:

    Twin turbojets.

    Fuel Capacity: 484 gallons useable,
    Fuel Burn: 130 GPH Cruise
    Maximum Range: 922 NM
    Maximum Speed: 350 KTS
    Normal Cruise Speed: 290 Knots
    Maximum Takeoff Weight: 8650 Lbs.
Useful load with full fuel: 720 Lbs

No info that I found on pressurization; but ceiling is about FL320

FWIW, there was a short-lived agreement w/ Beechcraft in the late 50's to market them in the US.

It looks to me like it could have been the 'model' for the Learjet... it looks more like a Lear than the Swiss P-16 that Bill apparently saw.

Nice to see the "Paris" remembered, but the pretty lady has aged somewhat since her heydays...
Her main utilisators were the French Air Force, with 36; the French Navy, 14; the Fuerza Aerea Argentina, 48; and Brasil with 30 (of which, 23 came back to France)

No need to expand on the Wikipedia entry for it, it is rather well written:

Morane-Saulnier MS.760 Paris - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Note that when "Jet set" in Florida bought the type certification from the former holder Daher-Socata on Nov 2nd, 2009, they also bought all tooling, and, according to the french Wiki, 40 time-expired aircraft from Brasil, Argentina and France, with a view to sell the jets after overhauling them, for about $ 500.000; and they were considering to re-engine these also, should the plane find enough customers.
