Would the Spider dead pedal (pictured in this thread) part work on a non-spider 348/355?

Reason I ask is that the dead-pedal I received extends all the way to the floor (not exactly what I had in mind) - see post #6 in this thread:
    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=269987

If this dead-pedal would work on my 355 GTS, I would really like to replace what I currently have.

    Rick -

That is a really good question -- and I have no idea of the answer. I always assumed that Hill made a Spider pedal and a GTS/GTB pedal (they are quite different in shape) because they were not interchangeable. But who knows? I'm shooting an email to Paul Hill now, and we'll see if he recalls whether it would fit.

I have to disclose a dirty little secret in the process..... (wink). Our esteemed brother Paul now has a F355 himself. In other words, it should be a snap for him to confirm (or dispel) fitment.

You can't have my carpet, Pap. :)

I agree - and I like my tan interior but think this setup would look much nicer against a black backdrop.

    You stole my idea :)
I told you I was going to do that to mine. I think the only right thing
to do is to have me come over and take yours. I'll be over in an hour ok?
I'd also like your wife to cook some of that fish she was having when my
wife and I came over last time. Oh, and you should pay for my gas also, and I'll have to stop for a Red Bull, I'll let you know what that cost.
And by the way, my wife is asking you to stop doing cool things to your car, we
can't afford it. It's hard keeping up with the Jones

hmmm..... me thinks our esteemed brother now has to design and produce a nice looking aluminium (British spelling) slip-over cover for the not so nice 355 coolant overflow tank cap.

All that snow! Man, that sucks! It's good to finally see some interior pics of your 348! Very nice! The CF brake handle and newly finished console parts look fantastic! Your wheel is very classy, and and I'm extremely jealous of that Enzo key. You just can't hide all that money, my friend... ;)

...and I see what you mean about the Hill shift gate. You definitely have more room between gears that than the stock gate allows. I like it.

I just got back from the local "Cars and Coffee" event in Plano this morning (at Classic BMW). What a blast! And an excellent way to raise money for Haiti relief (Red Cross). Must have been 500+ cars there and 1000 people. Lots of horses and bulls, too.

Here are a few of the local f-chatters' cars (and mine, of course...). I'll be posting more pics in the Texas subforum.

I just ordered some goodies this week from Daniel, including the Hill pedals. What did you do with your carpet and mat on the passenger side when you installed the passenger footrest? My carpet and mat go over the rubber footrest in the car. I have a 94 Spider if that makes a difference. By the way both rides on the thread look great and Daniel was a pleasure to work with.

My carpet didn't get in the way of the footrest (it's all tucked away behind it), so I didn't have any extra work there. I have the original set of mats, but don't use them. My aftermarket mats show it off nicely (I think so, anyway...).
