The latest rumor or news is that Kubica would drive in place of Badoer in Monza. http://www.worldcarfans.com/109090121450/kubica-to-replace-badoer-at-monza--report
Not really from Ferrari Just another media speculation. I hope we don't open a new thread for every name speculated (see the ferrari site for that )
With all the rumours, I think it would be easier to make a list of drivers that we surely WON'T see in the Ferrari cockpit this year...
I'm thinking all of these drivers have contracts; No ? What would be BMW's motivation for releasing Kubica early and who would they replace him with ? This is why they scraped the barrel with BAD.
Well I read that the Bmw drivers are free to go whenever they want since the team as retired for next year.
Isn't that usually the case? Like I said, looks like Ferrari will just have to run a few more cars next season!
Well, there's Lauda, Prost, and .... Hmm. It's hard to exclude *anyone*, the way the rumors have been flying. (But I'm still pretty sure that Vijay started that "Fisi" rumor, just to get Giancarlo psyched up for Spa. )
Vijay owes Ferrari some serious cash from last years engine deal. However Fisi having a near win at SPA may have changed things, Vijay wouldn't want to lose him at such a moment in the teams history, now would he!!.
Everyone take a deep breath and repeat after me....BIG BUSINESS... If it made good business sense, it will happen. ...saying that, Kubica, if nothing else would give Ferrari one hell of a bargaining chip. Didn't he grow up in Italy?
O.k , Fine I'll do it Hell I'm even Canadian, it's been a long time since G.V. Gord www.blurredvisionracing.com
He never drove since 2006. And he never had a taste of this year's cars. So i think, he could be as slow as Badoer.
Poifekt! Then the cameras can stop spending all their time on Nicole and focus some "babeage" time on Ashley. And everybody will be hoping for more wet races.
Why would BMW let Kubica go? If they're looking to sell the team having him on board increases its value.
