Hey Mario, it's too early for brain teasers!

First, that car is amongst the brotherhood here; Gene Berns' car. So he can probably let us know for dead certain, however, I'll venture a guess: Is there a color mismatch you're detecting? Aside from that vauguery, I wish my interior looked that good. Nicely chosen photos too.

I am looking at the shape of the seats....the wrinkles on both seats on the left bottom corner part and the way the shape of the leather rolls there going forward at the end and the overall size of the sides....they seem to look a little different........... it could be an optical illusion created by the photos maybe..... I am sure there would be no reason to have done leather work on a new car(less than a thousand miles!) that could take away from the original look.

Mario's eyes are better than mine. You re very thorough! Yet, after looking hard (and consumming two glasses of red wine) - -

NOW I SEE! They're so perfect it's obvious you're hiding something! And that paint.... that paint... WAY too nice for my tastes. In one photo, I see the reflection of a bird about to do something "unsettling" on it. Let's go ahead and devalue it appropriately: I'll offer $49,712 for it. Don't answer too hastily, but my offer ends today.

Geno, hope your car does great. I actually DID notice that you have the semi world famous plastic covers on your inner rockers. Since I just redid mine, I'm seriously considering a post-factory rewrap. Is that material basically the thickness and clarity of visqueen?

No matter, great looking car. Are you replacing it or just making space?

    Adams,

Is your offer good till end of business today or tomorrow, as I will need to sleep on it if that's okay. Don't you just hate that plastic cover on the inner rockers? It reminds me of my grand parent's sofa. So well preserved after years under this plastic crap that it would survive a nuclear explosion!

I would like to replace it with an airplane and fly some place warm...

    Gene.

Yes, I believe "tacky" is the word. Sleeping on it could be costly, as it often is. (Several jokes possible here; make up your own.) My offer expires when I awake. (Same joke rules apply.)

The plastic is just great! No kidding, I'd like to put that back on mine. Is it "Visqueen" thick? I'm honestly seeking an answer to this question.

As far as warm, Alabama is warm. We are in denial that it could be cold elsewhere. We think "global warming" means "extended summer". When you say, "warm", you mean a place that requires a Latin accent to pronounce, I'm guessing.

No matter, get your car sold. Stop to rest here to contemplate your next step; we'll have a drink and invent reasons that it's perfectly feasible.
