It seems that now Valencia will bid for an F1 date - the President of the government claims an announcement is imminent:

Follow that with Kazakhstan making noise about an F1 race . . .

Then top it off with the high terror threat alert issued for Bahrain where officials warn Australians to stay away and reportedly Webber and Sam Michael have been officially told to stay away . . . .

I would have to believe that the stability of F1 venues will take up to five years to finally settle. Moscow, Athens, now Valencia, seem to be good choices for a true world championship.

The situation in the Middle East will not soon get better, so I think Bahrain will be gone by 2009, if not sooner. I don't thnk you will see any of the former Soviet Union states get an F1 event if Moscow is granted a race.

But then, its hard to guess what Bernie will do, as it seems money is a priority over logic.
