I suspect 1 of my front cooling fans isn't running which would explain why she heats up in traffic. Are there higher performace, lighter fans to put in there? Too bad I cant fit a nice Hubbell cieling fan in there :)

Then theres the ECU, looks like she's taking a dump. engine cuts out sporadically drops to 1,000 RPM, sounds like she's running on 4 cylinders then all of a sudden she comes back to life. Hmm, maybe I'll replace those cheap Italian connectors with some heavy duty Hubbell connectors :)

    Any advice ? Thanks

William, yes there is an upgrade for your stock fans. I believe that Racer Parts Wholesale is just the ticket. There is a high performance SPAL fan that will fit with minimal modification. Replace your thermostat as well. Your fan relays are probably the cause of the problem. Zerex makes an additive that you add to water that increases the heat transfer by 25 to 30%. Works great. Try the zerex website. Get a Motec upgrade and use the Deutsch connectors.

Deutsch connectors are used on the eurofighter. They are aerospace connectors similar to Amp. They are sold in the US by PI Research (317) 259-8900. Sorry to hear about your problems. Tate at Carobu has a Motec upgrade that should resolve your issues.

Thatsounds like the culprit as the slow down light has been flickering also. Where is that ecu ? DoI just leave it unplugged ? Thanks

Did you install the Tubi exhaust? Don't ignore those slow down lights. If you did install the Tubi, your tech should have readjusted your idle fuel mixture. Adding a Tubi makes the ecu think that the throttle is opened due to the reduces manifold vacuum. The ecu responds by adding extra fuel during the cold start. You probably have fouled some plugs and that is why the car is running poorly. Have the idle mixture adjusted as soon as possible. Use either NGK or Denso Iridium plugs. The platinum plugs are easily fouled.
