Alright ... I had a leak down done on the 348 ... here are the results: #1 182, 7% #2 185, 5% #3 185, 5% #4 187, 6% #5 188, 5-6% #6 188, 6-7% #7 189, 5% #8 185, 5% Overall these numbers seem pretty good for a 1994 348 with 65k miles on the clock.
Will be no problem if you are the last owner of the car. Hi mi = Low resale. Mine has 42K miles but I will be the last owner of the car. Heh, ask me about it in 4 years. My Spider lasted 4.5 years and it was supposed to be the end all.
This car will remain in my collection for at least the next 10-15 years ... then, when people start to realize that the 348 spider were the first convertible in many many years and it becomes an classic icon ... it will be time to move on.
