Paul's family will be taking him home to England.
I'm not sure if there will be enough time for them
to set up a memorial for him here before they go.

I spoke with his family a few times this weekend
and they are all very busy trying to plan the trip,
finalize the school requirements, organize the services,
answer offers of condolences, and manage their
    day to day activities, etc.

His kids are surrounded by loved ones and seem to
be holding up okay in the rush of things. Prayers go
out to them as the activities settle down and they
    have time to grieve.

They have asked me to compile a list of people
who were close to him so that they can send a
global e-mail. If you would like to hear from them,
please send me a private message with your contact
information and I will pass it on the them.

In addition, there has been talk of purchasing a plaque
to be placed here in the U.S. I think that between the
Ferrari club and his friends at work, we could raise enough
    to do this for them.

I will volunteer to contact Edison and make the arrangements
there. If you could take up a collection during the Vegas run,
and make the checks out to Hayley and Hannah Cloke,
I will ask that the same thing is done at his work.

I would also like to organize a candlelight vigil in his honor
with his close Ferrari friends when they return from England.
If any of you could recommend a place where he enjoyed
riding and a place where we could all park, please let me know.

Please reach out to everyone that you love this week. A moment is
a narrow space, a place in time you can't erase.

It has been hard on me this week. You have all helped. As the country
celebrates the life and death of Ronald Regan, I have had trouble
trying to separate Regan's death with Paul's. To me it seems like
the entire counrty is grieving for Paul. The services in LA today
were difficult to watch. It has been helpful to reach out to so
    many caring people reaching back.

Thanks to all that have helped me the last week. I look forward
to seeing you again in the future runs.

    Best wishes,
    Red

Thanks so much for the update on Paul's family. Our heartfelt prayers go out to them during this incredibly difficult time.

May the Lord bring comfort to all of them in knowing that one day they will be reunited in God's Kingdom of Heaven.

    Red,

Thanks for the update regarding Paul. Whatever the families wishes are we "F-chaters" will respect. A plaque would be a wonderful tribute.

Will you be posting a bank account or address for donations in the future?

    One suggestion: Paypal
As it might be difficult for those who would like to contribute and dont attend Crystal Cove regularly. What would you think about setting up a Paypal account? It's fast and accountable since each depositor can include comments to the family with their donation. That's always my method of preferred payment.

    It was just a thought,
    We appreciate all you've done.
    Patrick

We too are very sad at SCE about Paul's passing. He sat in my office a few days before he left us and we talked about his kids and our boats. He was planning to trade the powerboat for a sailboat so that he could teach the girls to sail. And he was waiting to put the new exhaust system on his f-car. I understand that there was a memorial for Paul today near SCE, but I was away on business and could not attend. If you are planning a plaque and still need donations, let me know.
