So are you Fwedish or Srench? I'm half Norwegian and half German. My pronouns are Gorwegian, Nerman and mut. I meant German like strict & exacting. Thank you for confirming my observation.

Chassis #101.1886 had an interesting history: It was sold via Milan based Maserati dealer CORNACCHI to Hermes Pan, the Hollywood choreographer of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. Mr. Pan worked in Rome for the movie 'Cleopatra' with "Lizzy" Taylor and Whiskey lover Richard "Dick" Burton at the time of the purchase. He later took the car to Tinseltown and loaned it to the producers of the TV-series '77 Sunset Strip' starring Efrem Zimbalist (left) and Edd Byrnes. The car later went to Guy Barryman, the bass-man of "Coldplay", who in turn sold it to its current (?) owner in Prague. Image Unavailable, Please Login
A sad photo of the crashed chassis #101.2310 in the 60s. The car was much later owned by Umberto Compiano of Treviso, Italy, owner of a group of companies ("Vigilanza Compiano") in the cash and valuables transport business. Unfortunately, he borrowed millions of Euros from one or several bank(s) for his business, but actually used the money to compile his collection of cars. All his cars, boats, wrecks, motor cycles etc. were confiscated by the Italian Guardia di Finanza on October 21, 2013 and later sold in a chaotic RM-auction ("Due Mila route auction") in Milan in Nov. 2016. Italian bidders went nuts and paid moon-prices for -almost- all cars. Interestingly, Signor Compiano was walking around during viewing, telling everybody that he still owns official paperwork for a lot of the confiscated cars. That caused some...eh..."problems" (to say it politely) after the sale with the new owners... I luuuvve Italy! Image Unavailable, Please Login
A very nice photo of a very early Mistral, chassis #109.510, with charming Luciana Filonzi from Rome, who bought the car new from the factory in 1965. Where is it today?? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Famed US composer and conductor Lenny Bernstein lived for some months in the Via C. Colombo, 261 in Rome, Italy. He purchased the silver/black Mistral Spyder, chassis #109.S1.633 either from 1st owner Giancarlo Viola or from dealer SPORT AUTO ROLMA S.r.l., also from Rome. Bernstein took the car to the USA. in 1988 Austin R. Britton from Torrington, CT, was the owner in 1988. In 2011 it was for sale in Salzburg, Austria, now painted in a bottle-green color with tan interior. Some years later it was purchased by a friend (and then-time 300S-owner!) in Germany, who sold it some years later. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Sad photo... A lot of bidders were foreign and yes that auction was their first time and many got very excited, too much so and overpaid. I dealt with a German who bought a Khamsin there and its chassis number had been modified, erased and replaced by another number as it had been stolen in the eighties. With RM Auctions and Fabio Collina we got him sorted out once we identified the car; it was not 096 (a well known car located in Vienna at the time) but 032.
If you've seen the film Maestro (great movie, sad family) this photo fits right in. That outfit ... very, well you know.
Two of the 4CLTs! They were quite fast in their days but the 4-cyl.-engine is a little bit of glass, very fragile.
Very well known photo of Tipo151-002 though this is a very low resolution copy. Factory technician Cleto Grandi is third from left, with cap.

Targa Florio not sure by who. BTW, that Biturbo above did not win, blew its head gasket and DNF. My bad Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes but thankfully it is a racecar, a tool, imagine if they'd made a road car with a schnoz like that
