Is this what heaven looks like??
Wow, to have been alive and a Ferrari owner during that time....The sad thing is that now most of those cars probably sit in the climate-controlled garages of their wealthy owners only being driven a couple of times a year.
Yes they did get used...but then again people will lust about 360 garage queens in 43 years.... Here are the last two. best regards, Marc Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here we have a few pix of the 1967 Los Angeles Auto Show, featuring 8971, then owned by one of our members. For a few years, the FOC used to cooperate with the promoters of this show by setting up our own mini-display. This year, we also had 6107LM on display, which I think may have been owned by Steve Earle at the time. Here are some 80's pics from the garage of GS. Can anyone name the Ferraris and who owned them? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
GS had both a 917 and an Abarth at Moroso one day at a Brian Redman day I think and I asked him if he ever got confused about his braking points switching from one to another: he made sort of a funny face and said yes you have to pay attention!
The 212 shown with the license plate "60FH" is 069S, owned at the time by the late Fred Herdeen of New York. A real gentleman
I thought the pix of 0346 looked familiar. Here are some more that someone sent me years ago; no recollection who, but probably Gerry. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Phantastic Pictures - Thank you for sharing! Which colour is the 250LM 6107 on this picture? Regards Burkhatd
There are no new pics I can find, the link below is from the mighty barchett.cc which has not been updated for a few years and is way out of date!!!.....: http://www.barchetta.cc/english/All.Ferraris/Detail/0346M.166MM.53.htm cliff reuter www.etceterini.com www.ferrariexperts.com (I just own the .com name and am not an expert...) www.maseratiexperts.com (I just own the .com name and am not an expert....)
0346M underwent a total restoration at David Cottingham's in 2004. There are complete pics from as found with tree in it in the 1970s by GS to all stages of the restoration 30 years later. Here's the link http://www.dkeng.co.uk/frames.php . If it doesn't work, just google DK Engineering (the Ferrari specialists, not the mechanical engineers). Cheers, Dave
Thank you Jarrett! Do you have a better picture of this car in the dark mettalic blue? Regards Burkhard

Hi Cliff, Very cool photos. Can you provide dates/locations for them? My guess is 1960s. We've got a 500 Mondial, 212 Inter, Chinetti's 246F1 s/n 0003 (photo I think from the 1977 FCA Annual Meet), 410 Sport, 375MM. If I were to guess, I would say the 410 Sport is s/n 0596CM and the 375MM is s/n 0370AM when owned by Carl Bross. The yellow/black 212 Inter Vignale is 0197EL, also owned by Bross. -Jarrett
