Maybe the question mark is Richie Ginther, now that I reflect a moment.
Bruno, we have Volvic in the States as well. It's good, but I prefer Evian. LOL Thanks as always Mr. Ed Niles for the priceless photographs! Best, Dave
Ed, I don't think that Vanessa is pictured. Maybe the older daughter. Vanessa must have been about 10 when that picture was taken. George
Can you guys give me a year on this photograph? Pictures are Enzo Ferrari and racing driver Farina (?) at the Monza (?) track? Image Unavailable, Please Login All help would be appreciated. Gr. Martin
The guy in the darker overalls, standing to the right of Enzo, looks like Luigi Chinetti. I am saying 1949, but I am guessing here.
Some of you have expressed interest in Pierre Bardinon's Mas du Clos. I had the pleasure of visiting Pierre and Yanne in 1973, with Chuck Queener and John Lamm. This was not the usual circus with the Club Ferrari France, so we had a real opportunity to get acquainted with Pierre and the cars. At the risk of sating your appetites to the point of ennui, I'm going to post some pix of the collection (or some of it) as it existed in '73. In numerical order are: 006 158F1; 06C 166F1; 0116A 340 America; 0264M 166MM 53; 0344M 250MM; 0376AM 375MM; 0396 375Plus; 0540 625 F1; 0596CM 410Sp; 0866 612 CanAm; 0626 290MM;0638 500TR; 0674 335S; 0798 268SP; 0816 275P; 0862 212E; 0870 312P; 0933 250GT; 1018 512M; 2937GT 250GT; 4725SA 330 LMB; and 5095 250GTO. Also a shot of Pierre exercising the 512M and maybe a pic of Chuck, Pierre and me. Thanks to John Lamm for some of the pix, and to Jarrett R. for car i.d. If this is what heaven looks like, I am getting religious right here, right now. Imagine that, God is a Ferrari guy!
WOW.... i dont possess the vocabulary to accurately describe how wonderful it is too see pics like this. just wow!
This is a truely awesome collection.......he purchased some of these cars BEFORE they went to race LeMans...they raced them, then brought them back....LOL!
1033GT was painted silver and owned by Jean Badre in France at the time of Ed's photos. Never owned by Bardinon to the best of my knowledge -Jarrett
I have pics of his cars on my wall. I wish I could have been there! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
