I think that was mid 1990's, maybe 1993. I remember seeing the SZ Tronica and #16367 sitting next to each other that year at the Chicago Historics run by Joe M, owner of the 330 LMB at one point. I have Kodachrome slides of them somewhere.
Thanks. So it's the ex-Francisco Mir car. Ed Niles posted some Le Mans slides. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Ed, Great detail shot for us modelers! I could never have seen the "37" on the rims in any other photos. I also like the difference in rim color of the two Daytonas. These kinds of details really make a model stand out. Show more anytime. Rossa156-63
I just came across a file folder labeled LeMans 1959 and these were in there. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Did you notice the NART decal The car was a Chinetti/Nart entry at Le Mans. Finished 5th OA and 3 IC. Later in 1960 the SCCA said the car was not production [no kidding] but just because of the oil cooler. tongascrew
Where, what and when. And what is it now. Pretty easy one to figure out. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yeah sure not red is good but that has to be the worst colour scheme ever run on a car. Who the heck designed that, a blind person? Poor bloody car! Pete
