Not an old photo (actually a still from a home video), unless the year 2002 counts as old? But it might be at least a vintage Ferrari, or is it? I spotted this little sports racer at Brandoli in 2002. Judging from the shape of the hood and the high position of the side port holes I don't think it's a Ferrari, but what is it? Pegaso? Here's a great 1962 video with segments of the Donna Reed Show starring a LWB 250 GT California Spider won in a raffle by a teenager. It's a late LWB car with disc brakes. Image Unavailable, Please Login Picture Getty Images.
California Spyder in California, when California was in its prime and you're a teenager. Doesn't get much better.
I was thinking the same thing. And I'm not sure if only Vignale used those port holes? But the rounded front edge of the bonnet seems quite unique and should help identifying this car.

Yes, 1963. Ginther/Ireland 6th overall for Rosebud Racing. Don’t you love the bonnet support? Image Unavailable, Please Login coincidentally there were two Texas-owned GTOs entered in 1963; the Rosebud car, and Mecom Racing for Penske and Pabst, which was 4th. overall and 1st in class. Same credits as above
That’s Paul Peterson who played Donna Reed’s son in the series. He was one of the first Cobra owners, as I recall.
Perfect. 2 Blue GTO's from Texas (John Mecom's team also had a white stripe down the middle- but, blue overall).
Innes Ireland himself writes about the Rosebud car here… http://roadandtrack.com/car-culture/a18027/innes-ireland-and-the-ferrari-250-gto/
