Saw this posted on facebook, and attributed to Doug Morton. Car number #12, #0646 caused the end of the Mille Miglia a month and 1/2 later. #0674 is my favorite, number #11. All loaded up and ready to go back to Italy for rebuild.

    Sebring March 1957.

Found another one on Facebook, this time attributed to John Mensinger, from the Mensinger collection. At the Riverside 1964 LA Times Grand Prix. This car was owned by Ed Niles a few years later, and in much worse condition.

Art True got 0704 TR mid-1962 and raced it until 1965. Sadly True got liver cancer and died aged 35 in 1965. 0704 TR was then donated to the Ford Museum where it stayed until March 1997.

Sad to see a lot of the "old photos" from this forum being stolen to appearing on other forums. without credits. Hence why I will be no longer posting photos.

Yes at first I was quite upset that nearly everything I posted was hijacked, even used in the publication of books. A Frenchman contacted me saying that he was working with Antoine Prunet to publish a definitive book on the 250 SWB Berlinetta. I sent them over a hundred photos and never heard back. I had met Prunet in Monterey and respected him.
I finally decided I was having fun sharing and if the thieves were going to steal so be it.

    I hear you.
While I don't have much "old (Ferrari related) photos", my personally taken shots of everything (mostly authenticity, originality & restoration detail documentation) within past 4+ decades include tens of thousands (or more ?), but I decided long ago not to share most of them with general public, especially online. Some that I do post/share I often crop or otherwise edit in efforts to protect the copyright & integrity of the original image, not to mention privacy related concerns.

French book author Antoine Prunet passed away April 2023 (see separate thread). He and his French compatriot Maurice Sauzay had once planned to do a book about 250 GT SWB Berlinettas.
    That, however, never materialised.
