    Note rumors... not confirmed...

    BAR has been in talks with 2004 IRL champion Tony Kanaan about a possible test drive. TK looked impressive at the ROC in any car he got into. It would be interesting to see if the deal actually goes through.

    They were on Speed this afternoon talking about the likelihood of a test with BAR. Gil opined that Tony would be very fast in an F1 car.

    Gil is right, Tony is a very fast and consistent driver.

    I agree on both points, Tony's probably got an inside track because he knows Gil, and that he would be BLOODY QUICK in an F1 car.

    Boot Sato and give TK the drive. Although then I'll be sad because Dan Wheldon, TK, Dario and Bryan Herta do make a classic team.

    I don't know much about TK's racing skills, but as a person he is a standup guy- very friendly and polite (as was his beautiful girlfriend who took the pic). We ran into him after the Indy 500-

    I stood by TKs pit all day for the Texas 500 Thursday and Friday. tried to get an autograph later on while he was sitting with Weldon, Franchiti (sp?) and Michael Andretti. At the time I was the only fan there. He TOTALLY ignored me. I didnt have a media camera in his face. He can TOTALLY kiss my ask me no questions.
