More wierd Ferrari dreams (NNO take a stab?)

    Well, this one's been bugging me for a while. The other night I had another unusual F-car dream, but this one was more unusal then the rest. Goes like this, I'm at the park playing basketball, and it's about dusk, I look and guess who I see standing in front of me smiling? The old man him self, Enzo Ferrari. Not only was he standing in front of me, but he was smiling, had a black suit on with black tie, and trademark sunglasses, and their was an older woman standing off to the side of him. I assumed the old woman was his wife, but didn't understand why he was there, much less standing on a basketball court in a suit and tie smiling. Any take a guess at what this one means?

    This old woman looked to be age of Enzo himself. Oh, I'm asking Carbon as well simply because he explained the last one...

    Easy. Its is a little known fact that Enzo always dreamed of a career as a professional basketball player. However hard he tried, he simply could not make the cut; he was too slow, too fat, used his hands too much, and had virtually no english. He also refused to remove his sunglasses during games, which infuriated coaches and fans alike.
    As a result, Enzo developed a deep resentment toward professional sport celebrities, and as his fame grew in production car manufacturing, he delighted in making such celebrities grovel and wait for their cars. Privately, though, despite fame and fortune, Enzo still longed for a career as basketball player. He had a secret basketball court built behind his office-entry was achieved thru a hidden door behind that photo above the credenza near his desk- and he donned a purple uniform and shot hoops at every opportunity.

    So, it is apparent that, in your dream, you have obtained the approval of Enzo, who cherished basketball above all else in this earthy life. It is unclear to me, however, whether the woman with him was his wife, his mistress, or perhaps, his mother.

    Just my take on it, but I feel that the basketball part isn't even related to the actual meaning inside your head at all. You are trying for a connection there, when there isn't one at all. Basketball might be a former passion of yours, or a current one at that. Think of what basketball is to you: do you enjoy watching it? playing it? think of friends when you were 12 years old and how you played in the driveway? Think of what that means to you. The connection with Enzo and possibly his wife and/or mistress, that would be something to the extent of you wishing for someone like that to share the same experience with you or admire your passion just as well. It all varies, but your own brainstorming will come up with more questions, which might lead to answers, but hopefully just more questions.

    Wow... Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar... That would be the easy way out of this explanation... This one seems a tad more complicated; i would need to know more about you and what's going on in your life at the present time to try to decipher this... Remember, your subconscious uses dreams as vehicles to explain to you, in simplest terms, your thoughts and feelings... Ferraris are probably on your mind a lot, so that was an easy one to use... i don't know if you play basketball or what, but that would be another one...

    Did you recognize your surroundings when you were playing...? How did you feel when you saw Enzo...? Scared...? Relieved...? How did you feel when you saw the old woman...? Are you having any trouble with any women in your life right now...? Mother, Aunt, Grandmother, etc. ...? Maybe some parental beef...? Do you have a big basketball tournament coming up...? Anything else happen...? Notice anything else peculiar...? How long were you playing basketball before they showed up...? Were you doing good...? Did you play after they showed up...? If so, how were you doing then...? Lots of variables here...

    I enjoy watching sometimes (my interest in it has slowed), I also enjoy playing it as well, even just dribbling the ball and "tossin' up the rock".

    Your paragraph here intrigued me very much to say the least. Firstly I didn't even know Enzo had a mistress, so that one is news to me. I also never knew he was married either. None of the books or websites I've read mentioned anything about, in the dream however I just assumed it was his wife in the dream. Your reasoning behind someone to share my interests in is what got me intrigued the most. I don' think I would have made the relation of the old woman->b-ball-> and F-cars into a GF or something to that extent who also shares the same interests.


    Yes, I recognized my surroundings at the time, it was at my local park where I sometimes play b-ball. I haven't played in quite sometime either if that has any relevance. When I saw Enzo smiling and decked out I wasn't scared or relieved, but rather confused. In my head I knew he was dead, but didn't know why he was dressed the way he was on the court. At the time I wasn't having any troubles with female relatives, or any parental beef either. No, no big basket ball games coming up, I just play for leisure, and I watch games when they are on. The dream popped me onto my parks b-ball court, around dusk, and I'm looking down at the time dribbling the ball a few times, and I then look up to see Enzo standing in front of me a few yards away with him holding his hands behind him, standing in the black suit and smiling. I look at him wondering why he's here, and then notice an older woman in a black dress standing off behind him to his left, she however was emotionless with no expression on her face. I look at them for a while wondering what's going on, I assume the woman is his wife, and then *poof* it ends.

    I said earlier this one was more unusual then the others because before I'm just driving around (hauling ass) in an Enzo, 355, 360, or 512TR. What's odd is that I've never driven either of these cars, yet I knew what I was driving.

    Enzo might represent a father figure, and in this case, he appears to be approving of your athletic endeavors. I'd be surprised if Enzo actually represents himself in the dream rather than somebody more significant (a father figure or your own masculine energy), but I know some of you guys are pretty hard core ferrari fans, so i guess its not impossible.
