They're closer than they've ever been - I know you remember the "halcyon" days of only two or three cars finishing on the same lap; Wanna go back to that? My point was I'd love to see 'em do, say, 10 test days on the Monday after the race - You don't have to take part, but if they can it should be permitted to all of 'em, not just the non-podium guys. Absolutely! I'd go as far as to say the results almost *never* tally. Given the razor edge on which they're operating and the critical nature of aero these days this is probably the biggest single challenge they face. Hence the speed / pressure arrays they all now sprout on Fridays - None of 'em are sure what's going on! Cheers, Ian
No doubt it's a better show these days and if that's the goal they've succeeded. If its the great tradition of innovation that matters most we all lose.
