Morphing a 360 key into a California one

Looking for any thoughts from those who know more than me...

I'm idly wondering if it's possible to take a 360 key and the separate remote control and combine the 2 into a California style key where the buttons are built in.

I'm sure that somewhere on the net I've seen a 360 key blade mounted into the california style red non-remote key but I would love to go the whole hog.

can it be done / has it been done / am I a loon who should give up having ideas?
