    I saw the picture of the Graham Hill helmet and it reminded me of something that came up about 10-12 years ago. There was an estate sale from South America--Brazil or Argentina, I can't remember--and everything being sold was pretty high-end. One of the items was a Graham Hill helmet, but even the estate couldn't confirm its authenticity beyond it being period-accurate. They sent me a number of photos at the time, but I couldn't get any more confirmation on it. One of those "do you take a chance on it" situations, and I didn't. Did you ever see anything about that?

    I've had two original GH helmets in the past, but I don't think either came from this particular estate sale that I know of. The real ones had painted oars, the fake ones purporting to be real had decals, and he usually wore Griffin. Is that any help?
